So, Who Am I and Why Should You Listen to Me?
I'm Ashley Ridout - Registered Osteopath, Personal Trainer, and founder of Precision Wellbeing.
I've spent over 15 years in clinical practice helping adults get out of pain. Early in my career I could get people out of pain. What I couldn't do was keep them out of it. I was treating the symptom, not the root cause.
Over the following years I developed a framework that changed that. When I addressed pain, flexibility, and strength in the right order and at the right time, patients didn't just recover - they stayed recovered.
I've also been through this myself. In 2014 I injured my lower back mid-squat. It has never fully gone away. When I ease off, it comes back. When I stay consistent with my programme, it essentially disappears. That experience gave me a level of understanding that no textbook could.
The framework in this guide is the same one I use with every client I work with today.
